Debi and Cody went....
to Manila Ocean Park last December 6 (sorry for the late post). We got there by riding a bus and a taxi. I know for sure there are other ways of commuting going to MOP.
Admission are 400php for Adults and 350php for Kids (4.5 ft. and below) or you could get it free! if you are 2 feet and below.. Discounts are also given to schools, corporate, events, etc.
We got there at around 11am. Luckily even though there were a lot of students having their field trip, we didn't have to wait in a long line. (whew!)
Our journey to the Oceanarium is divided into many stops.
Here are some of the pics..
Oscar
Ocellate River Stingray
Philippine Crocodile
Starfish
and this fly caught the attention of Debi. If you look closely on the picture, it looks like it is praying (according to him).
Excited on the next stop? It's Bahura.
Blue Damsel
Harlequin Tuskfish
Common Seahorse
Pajama Cardinalfish
Giant Spider Crab
Longhorn Cowfish
Clown Anemonefish
Bluespotted Ribbontail Ray
Estuarine Stonefish
Common Lionfish
Sailfin Tang
Rockmover Wrasse
Watch this rockmover wrasse move some reefs. Amazing, isn't it?
We'll now move on to Laot. It has 4 big distinct aquarium that displays assortment of fish in different sizes.
On Buhay na Karagatan, you'll get to experience a slice of ocean life! You can see a variety of fishes from Blue damsel to stingray.. It would be different, if you get to experience it.
and the last one, Pating.
After a long walk of Oceanarium journey, we tried out the fish spa that costs 120php for 20 minutes.
Debi's Top 3 picks are:
- Giant Spider Crab
- Philippine Crocodile
- Clown Anemonefish
- Harlequin Tuskfish
- Stingray
- Rockmover wrasse
So there, Debicody at Manila Ocean Park - Oceanarium. (reporting! lol)
